An American Talk Show Host and a CFL Football Player...WTW?
No it is not a Carnac the Magnificent answer, (my subject line), but it is a wee bit of a media news story that made the news...
Last week TV Talk Show Host Wendy Williams, (who is also in on air battle with Howard Stern right now as well) made a gesture with her lip when talking about Winnipeg Blue Bomber Linebacker, Adam Bighill.
Adam's son was born with a cleft lip as was he...and his baby son had surgery on it yesterday...on William's show however, she ended up discussing this and made a gesture with her finger and mouth around what a cleft lip looks like, Bighill found this to be offensive and called the TV Talk Show host out on it.
Thankfully, yesterday she apologized and sent a donation to "Operation Smile" on behalf of Bighill's son and his pending surgery.
Man, these day time talk shows...they seem to be getting crazier, sillier and pretty nonsensical each passing day...

Just to clarify ..Williams made the initial comment about actor Joaquin Phoenix..not Bighill.
He just called her out..good for him!
