Talking about a news trifecta today

I don't mean to steal the thunder of that post...but...I have cut back on my news consumption, truth is I get a bit despondent by it...and when a story breaks, the news media breaks it down every which way to Sunday...

Someone commented on the "Trifecta" post about interviewing families and witnesses. Since most of us have been in the media, do you find that in this day and age, once you've hear about a tragedy, that that is it, it is enough, to go on watching and listening to the story endlessly actually affects your psyche and well-being?

It does mine and so I need to limit my consumption...or I could lose hope in humanity some days, that or hurl a brick through my TV screen!

The world would be so good if it weren't for some people...
