I don't see it .
Two big differences in Vancouver:
1. They launched this after three poor-ratings formats on 730. 640 has good 25-54s.
2. They had a full-service N/T sister station to provide the staffing. It cost next-to-nothing to get running. Traffic 640 would be going alone; they wouldn't recoup the costs.

I think it might be more fair to say 640 has 25-54 #'s, versus good 25-54's. I don't recall seeing any shows in the Top 10? Happy to be wrong.

Traffic could double up for use with both AM 640 and this new channel,
should it ever air:

Never mind all traffic. Here's the REAL AM640 new format, one Corus will love because it doesn't need a single announcer.
I can just hear the tagline now: "Playing everything from A to ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ..."
