Judging by the latest ratings, maybe CBC Radio One should sell ad time. They seem to be strong right across the country ratings wise. They did try to sell commercials on Radio Two years ago and this didn't work out too well. Ad agencies would be interested in Radio One- big audience, well educated, high incomes so lots of disposable money. However CBC's "uppercrust" Radio One listeners would likely choke on their lattes and avocado toast if they heard commercials for BMW or Holt Renfrew on air.
