For 42 years the Royal Canadian Air Farce has aired it's New Years Eve Special, I personally have gone to a few of them as a member of the studio audience, but back in early October, the CBC halted take off and didn't give the Air Farce clearance to host another New Years Eve Special...

The last one I saw live was 2 years ago and truth is, it wasn't that funny and the show lacked that magic...so maybe the powers that be felt the same.

Here is more on this move...now, the CBC  will air a special honouring the Air Farce's 42 years contributing to Canadian culture and making us laugh at what it is like to be Canadian and yes even from Canmore!
