I'm honestly not sure why major U.S. networks ever accepted commercials for their de facto competitors in the first place (although it was quite lucrative which is why they did it) but with Disney now launching its own online service, there will be no more spots for the streamer.
I wonder if the others (NBC's Peacock is coming and CBS's All-Access is already up and running) will follow suit.
