    North Bay Radio Pioneer Passes

    I've not heard about Sid Tomkins before, but I'm assuming there are some North Bay alumni here who have. The founder of CHUR-FM and professor at Canadore College passed away Saturday at 81.

    Sid was an amazing man.  I went to Canadore College and worked at CHUR in the mid to late 80's.  RIP my friend.
