Wow, more changes to key on air personnel at the Fan 590 as Greg Brady decides to step away effective immediately on today's show...
Wondering who will fill in and if maybe Scott MacArthur gets the nod...
Here is more from Greg Brady himself...

Actually it's the Prime Time crew that's going to afternoons; 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
Sim and Time are going to an evening slot; 5:00 - 7:00 pm.

Those are both afternoons in Numeris and sales worlds.

No more PrimeTime no more BobCat - huh? what?
The one outstanding show that carried the station - vapourized, poof

Greg Brady apparently hasn't retired at all. He's filling in for Alex Pierson on Wednesday and Thursday on GNR640. Interesting choice, considering the usual proxies are Peter Shurman, Stephen LeDrew or Arlene Bynon.

Does he have any radio experience other than sports?
I’m not a sports radio person

Can't answer your question about his previous experience, but I will say there were certainly a lot of sports references in the show. Guess that's what he knows best, so he turned to his strong side, even though he was hosting a news/issue-style talk show. He's on Thursday, as well, with Alex Pierson taking Halloween off to be with her kid.
