    Viewer Alert: "The Last Days of Phil Hartman" Airing Thurs. On ABC

    Whether you were a fan of his from SNL, Newsradio or "Troy McClure" on The Simpsons, nobody played smarmy better than Phil Hartman. His life ended tragically when his wife shot him to death before taking her own life in 1998. Now a new two-hour TV special is examining both his career and what led up to his shocking murder. 

    It airs Thursday night (Sept. 19th) at 9 PM on ABC. If you were a fan of his (and even though it's another network's slogan) this could be Must See TV.

    Back then I mixed in the crime scene pics with my house-mate's rotating screensaver photos on his computer. He was not amused.
