Amanda Lang hosted the Weekend CTV National News for Sandie Rinaldo
Sort of surprised to see her host the CTV National News at 11 am last night. (Sunday)...She filled in for Sandie Rinaldo...
She is more familiar doing BNN and business shows on her previous CBC...I would imagine finding homegrown capable talent to do the National News Package is a bit hard to find here in Canada...
I wish her luck, I am not a big fan of her personally. I find her a bit cold on air and not overly kind and warm...there are other broadcasters who's warmth and personality shine through.

Ms. Lang has hosted The National when she was at the CBC a number of times. I've always liked her presence.

Well she had subbed on CBC's The National, when she was there, so she is no stranger to doing a national newscast.
