CTV is asking it's workers to embrace the digital world...which means more tech and less people...part of this is asking current reporters to become multi-purpose video journalists...City TV uses videojournos a lot more than local CTV news affiliates do but that will change...newer tech and equipment makes this a feasible cost-cutting move, but there will obviously be less people working cameras, writing and uploading content if the reporters are going to be asked to do those jobs too...here's a response from the union - https://unifor.org/en/whats-new/press-room/bell-media-must-respect-rights-workers-digital-restructuring-plans
