Heard the opening of the Blue jays radio broadcast today.
The announcer welcomed a brand new sponsor.
They're selling wild bird feed on Blue Jays broadcasts this year.
That struck me as funny.
Am I too easily amused?

No, you're not too easily amused unclefester, a wild bird feed sponsor for the Blue Jays is definitely funny.

While we're on the subject, there used to be a product for jock itch called 'Clutch', which I thought was hilarious. A radio broadcast for a sports team sponsored by 'Clutch' .... the possible taglines and quips would be endless, (semi-endless anyway..)

Joke if you must, but none can escape the fact that Clutch totally rocks.

Not the spray can of jock itch product commercial I was expecting when I clicked on the link Chrisphen! Cool tune though, very Rage Against the Machine without the lilt.

Perhaps there's a gardening company that sells manure that could sponsor a radio or television show about politics, or sports radio show feature about E.M.'s 'rebuild' of the Ottawa Senators (I kid I kid!!)....

Wonder how long it'll be before Q107 gets a storefront pot company to advertise on-air, seems like it would be a good fit. (Someone needs to start a separate thread about whether smoking/using marijuana while on-air is quietly back again in radio, now that it's legal.)
