Talking about Howard Berger, what's what with Strombo?
I haven't heard much from George Strombolopolous since he left HNIC on Sportsnet/CBC...has anyone heard what he is up too now in terms of a new show, work, and what future projects are in the works?
I used to see him a year or so ago at a gym on King St. near the CBC...but as far as him being in the broadcast biz, he's gone quiet for a few years now!

Given how abruptly the HNIC deal ended, he likely doesn't have to. Also possible he's not allowed to if he wants to keep getting paid by Rogers/HNIC. He has, however, continued his Sunday night radio show on CBC Music.

He was on the Canadaland podcast recently. At one point he mentioned he can't talk about his departure from Hockey Night yet. So aside from his YouTube stuff and radio show, I'd say he is still waiting for his severance package to run out. Life could be worse.

Where is he? He’s on CBC Radio 2 every Sunday night for 4 hours from 8pm to midnight, algorithm free. He broadcasts from his Toronto house.
