This one will hit those who grew up during the "Beverly Hills 90210" era hard - actor Luke Perry, one of the stalwarts from that show, has died following a massive stroke he suffered last week. 

His career had just been reignited by a role as Archie Andrews' father on the hit CW show "Riverdale" and it will be interesting to see how the producers deal with this. The original program is being revived as well and there were reports he might have been sought out to eventually appear in it.  

I wasn't in the age group that watched "90210," but it's bound to make a lot of people who were in that demo feel a little bit older and more mortal today.

He was only 52.
