Sorry about the clickbait headline, but I couldn't resist. There's video of a Toronto radio tower being pulled down. But, as they used to say on CKFM, it's not Our Toronto. It's actually a structure in a place called Toronto, South Dakota. (Who knew there was such a place? Apparently it was named after a former resident of this city, who settled in the small town back in the 1800s.)
Anyway, as I was reading this, I couldn't quite figure out the Toronto reference until I did a bit more research and discovered this strange geographical anomaly. (You can see pictures of the not-so-Big Smoke here.)
As for the deliberate tower destruction, there's video of it and details on the reason it was destroyed at the link below.

I knew of Toronto Kansas to be in existence. When the Canadian owned company I work for was bought by a US company, based in Boca Raton, they mistakenly sent a sales rep to Toronto Kansas thinking that's where it was we were.
Check these links out...
_code=US&qcity=Toronto - 8 cities call Toronto
and a bunch of places called Canada
Not to mention the 14 places named Ontario...
I'm guessing Ontario, California would be best known to more of us here,, as the former home of the Ontario Motor Speedway.
[Edit] Also, nearer to my heart, there is only one Welland in all of Canada. They got it right the first time.
(No, no, don't do it. I already know where you're going with this...)
