"In two weeks a Toronto court will hear arguments about the station’s decision not to give the email addresses of its more than 2,000 member-donors to Brian Hemming, a founder of Save JAZZ.FM."
If the existing board really cared about the station then they'd quit and have the member/donors replace them with a group that could start a healing process in the community.

Just saw on this Twitter from the Globe and Mail's Simon Houpt --
"Breaking: Superior Court orders @JAZZFM91 to provide dissident shareholder group with email addresses of members (to be used to lobby for changes to board). Also orders station to pay $20K of other group's legal costs (on top of its own $18K legal bill)."
"Update: the station - a not-for-profit - actually will need to pay out about $50,000 in total, since its own legal costs were an estimated $30K. (The $18K figure was based on a 60% indemnity.)"
That's a lot of Jazz Safaris to flog to donors.
