This morning at 8.30, the newsreader stated that George HW Bush was president from 1981 to 1989 
Do they write their own copy? For goodness' sake, it's not that hard to check Wikipedia!

He was VP through those years. So, Wikipedia checked, but read too quickly I guess.

I heard today 680's 'listener feedback' segment. Instead of featuring complaints of their...uh...journalism, they played rants from elderly folk who had clearly mis-dialed 640's call-in line.

Jokes and snark aside, it is disappointing. They can easily afford to fulfill the service to their audience with integrity, yet they still continue to fuck up basic stuff again and again.
