All Christmas in Buffalo
As of this morning both Star 102.5 and Mix 96.1 have gone all Christmas 24x7. It is only Nov 5th and we still have almost a month to Thanksgiving! Sorry I just think it is waaaaaaay too early.

I heard my first Christmas commercial on Monday. It aired on 680 News for Indigo, complete with an Xmas-themed jingle track. (Although not a Jingle Bells themed track.)
Saturday's Toronto Star came with a Hudson's Bay mini-catalogue ad that was totally Yule-themed.
I agree that it's way too soon, but they can't help themselves. I suspect if they could, they'd start in September, right after all the back-to-school shilling is done.
It's hard to say how many others will follow the Buffalo stations' lead - and when - but one thing seems certain. It's going to be a long and irritating march to December 25th.

This is the earliest they've flipped. I wonder if CHFI will go all-Christmas earlier than usual.
I'd love to see a station go all-Halloween sometime.

Max FM did that, but only as a stunting leading into the new Max FM launch.
I doubt they'll do that again next year...but you never know!
