Best recommended source to learn about Am & FM signal propagation?

As an frequent reader, and infrequent contributor, I am most interested in the back and forth postings about AM & FM signals - on their various frequencies and ERP outputs. I also enjoy reading about DX'ing. I used to collect QSL cards myself.

Saying that, I'd like to have a better understanding of this subject and would appreciate any response to my question - "what is the best, or are best, site/sites that I could I link-to learn more?

I do know one thing.  If you're told not to turn the big knob, that if you do there will be dire consequences.

Thanks for any feedback.

Cheers!

start here:  http://www.wtfda.info

The Worldwide TV FM DX association has a good website and facebook group.  They focus mainly on TV and FM dxing but have links to people interested in AM as well.  It's been around since the 50's or 60's.  I was active back in the day.   Good archival info, equipment tips, people who will answer your emails if you need help.
