Some oldtimers here - present company included - may remember Gord Whitehead.
Gord passed at his Parkhill home over the weekend.

He enjoyed a 55 year long career in journalism which included news director at CFPL Radio in London in the 70s.
 
Following which Gord was also employed as a  managing editor in the CFRB newsroom.
He eventually gravitated toward newspaper writing with his final column appearing July 25th of this year - written from his hospital bed.
A journalist to the very end.
