Agreed. That was the radio equivalent of clickbait. A brand refresh, of sorts. Going by the "new" name of Chum 1045, it looks to appeal to females, going directly after CHFI's listeners, with pink logo and the repeated word "pop".

As an aside, Q107, changed their branding as well to "the best music on earth". Rather ambiguous. Their target? It would appear to be effeminate, pre-transgender or gender-fluid hipster males. Man-buns optional.
 

Another site is reporting that Adam Wylde has left Kiss 92.5 and will be joining Roger and Marilyn on the morning show and that he will eventually take over as host of the morning show when Roger and Marilyn (most people likely know that Marilyn is Adam Wylde's mother) retire. I thought it might be Jay Michaels who has done a lot of fill in on the Chum morning show or possibly Scott Tucker. Wylde did morning drive in Calgary before returning to Kiss and, I suppose, would bring a younger perspective although I don't feel Roger Ashby to be out of touch.
