John Donabie CIUT
Didn't mean to scare you, John is still very much with us....although not for long. At least on the radio. Canadian Broadcast Hall of Famer John Donabie's FINAL program on CIUT 89.5 is TODAY. It's his FINAL show. No more CIUT from John..nada, zero, zip.
Great music! Great radio! 2 to 5 PM TODAY. John's a great and longtime friend of mine and I thought y'all should know.

That's too bad the last of the jocks on the CHUM FM Free form format still on the air on terrestrial radio. I just saw this now and missed the show. I believe we will be able to catch it on the archive.

John reached a milestone last year when he marked 50 years in Toronto radio. His first Toronto gig was at CKFH in 1967 and he's worked at many stations and formats since. If there was a Toronto Radio Hall of Fame, he'd be one of the first inductees.
