Just noticed this morning RadioActive; on the main page that you are now the Moderator. I thought it was still Mr. Grant. Congratulations. I guess I missed the announcement.

Actually, I'm not the moderator, per se. What happened is a simple explanation. A few months ago, Iain contacted me off board to tell me he was going out of the country and wouldn't be available to monitor the site. He asked me if I could temporarily take over for the few weeks he was gone.
I'm still not sure why he picked me, but I agreed. I'm guessing when he did whatever magic he needed to switch me over, the notice at the bottom of the page changed and never got put back. I appreciate Iain's trust in me and thankfully, during those few weeks (and a few subsequent ones) I never really needed to do very much.
If Iain decides to give up the admin duties, things could still change. But until then, there's not a new sheriff in town at the moment. I'm still just the temp! If that changes, I'll be sure to let everyone here know.

If the big yellow board was a magazine, I'd read it for RadioActive's articles. I have absolutely no idea what the moderator does, in this particular situation, but I am glad ig gets to take a break from everything involved, and RA is holding down the fort, because sometimes we're beyond the pale.

RA, the moderator, acts responsibly, and refrains from attacking Jack Berkovits for no legitimate reason (the fact that Jack Berkovits is gainfully employed being no legitimate reason)
Can't wait for Iain to return and we get back the real RA.
