I almost never listen to Art Bell - not my kind of show - but I just happened to turn on the radio at exactly midnight Friday morning and it was on CFRB, which carries his "Midnight in the Desert" broadcast. It was during his intro that he "updated" his audience about a bizarre tale that seems to indicate someone may have shot at his home studio multiple times during Thursday morning's show. 

Apparently, he interrupted his syndicated paranormal yakfest, putting his guest on hold and playing a song or two, while he went out to investigate. He released few other details, other than to say he gave the local Pahrump, Nevada Sherrif's Department "information" and left it in their hands. 

It's hard to take this kind of show seriously, but given the type of crazies the topics he covers attracts, I suppose anything is possible.
