As he gets ready to hang up his headphones next week, legendary radio morning Don Imus reflects on half a century of being in the medium and his supposed war with Howard Stern.

Here's a classic from Imus, released on an LP in the 70s when he was ruling New York over WNBC-AM, called "1200 Hamburgers To Go."

Just rediscovered these and they're exclusive to the SOWNY Board.

A friend of mine who used to work at the old WNBC-AM sent me a number of pics of the place a long time ago. Here are the ones of Imus' office, which as you can see by the photos below was a real mess! Nice to know our desks weren't the only ones that were a disorganized disaster.
