But, the question is still unanswored, why her sudden dissaperience from 640?

The last time I heard her on 640 was 2 or 3 years-ago. Her commentary misrepresented the facts over how unmarked graves, not her "mass graves" of children were buried to do with Residential Schools. A right wing denialist trope and surprising, since she's Jewish. I figured she would have known better. She didn't sound far off deniers of what happened to her people.
So, she can take off. Eh.
I have no respect for her or those who think as she does.

Wow!
I still have some respect for broadcasters on the left, as long as they have talent and are not pushing there politics on stations it does'nt fit on.
She's not so extreem right like the ones in the states.
So, as a right-leaning conservitive who's not far-right, would you have respect for me as a fellow user of this forum?
I still have respect for you as a fellow user, same as I do for the broadcasters on the cbc even if they don't have the same politics as me.
And, for music djs, who cares about there politics, its there talent that counts.
Its mostly talk radio hosts where politics matters.

Ok Ok.
What she said about the residencial schools and the trajity, I absolutely don't agree with.
Good she's gon but her politics belong on 640.
Its not 1010, that station's for us normal conservitives.
640's for the white supremisist conservitives.
But there's still a lot of other stuff I agree with her on.
But realy, why say that about the first nations and denie a trajity on air?
Its like if an islamist host went on the cbc to denie the holicost.
Or a white supremisist went on 640 to also denie the holicost.
What happened in those schools is not some woke snowflakes complaining, when you hear from the elders, like 1010 did a great job doing on truth and reconsiliation day, then you will get the real story and not some non-first nations activist's/sjw's take.
Alex, you should have got an elder from the community on air and learned from them.
1010 did that.

640 is for supremacists? Seriously?
Greg Brady, Ben Mulroney....supremacists?
Hank Idsinga has jewish roots, Eric Kam is Jewish, David Cooper is Jewish.
Stupid comment, buddy.

Walter, the member is visually disabled and uses an aid of some sort to post on the internet. but, to claim 640 is for white supremacists is a false statement and an apology is warranted in this case. I will assume some sort of intoxicant may be involved. ![]()

I'm sory about what I said.
Its changing for the better and becomming more like 1010.
But, how I just apolojized, so should alex peirson.
Alex peirson should go on 640 and apolojize for what she said about the residencial schools.

I always usedto think 1010 had more jewish hosts when astral owned it and when standard owned it.

I try not to jump in on this stuff, but this is monumentally stupid and, frankly, pretty close to textbook antisemitic stereotyping.
How exactly are you determining how many Jewish hosts a radio station has?
It’s radio. Religion is not an audible characteristic.
You can't reliably identify someone’s religion from a name, an accent, where they were born, what they look like, or whatever other stereotype you’re using as a measuring stick. Someone could have the most stereotypically Jewish-sounding name imaginable, be born in Israel, and be a Jehovah’s Witness, a Catholic, an atheist, or anything else.
So unless 1010 is announcing everyone’s religion between traffic and weather, and I missed that memo, what you’re actually saying is that you were mentally sorting hosts into “Jewish” and “not Jewish” based on stereotypes, then treating your guesswork as some kind of factual observation.
Fuck dude.

It's not clear to me exactly what the disagreement is about but if she said "mass graves" perhaps it was from the Canadian correspondent for the New York Times, Ian Austen, who reported the story using that phrase and it has never been corrected.
