Election Libations?
Last evening during the GTA municipal election media coverage, as well as watching TV coverage, I checked out the radio coverage, which for the most part was pretty good. However, while listening to AM740’s coverage, I thought I heard Libby Znaimer slurring just a little. She announced that their radio coverage was being streamed so I decided to watch it for a bit.
Sure enough, there was drinking involved as Libby had a tall glass of what looked like draft, she even took a swig on camera! Since this wasn’t a televised event, she wasn’t breaking any rules with drinking on air. I ended up watching for a while as it was entertaining and they had some interesting guest, like Conrad Black, remember him?
I actually have no problem with this as Libby still had it together and she was a lot more relaxed than she usually is! Cheers!

Re: Election Libations?
The drinking during election coverage sort of keeps Moses Znaimer's CityTV tradition alive. I remember watching City during some of their various election parties, and a few guest absolutely had been drinking a beverage or three. You could see people milling around the bar on TV. I forgot about AM 740's coverage last night and would have tuned in the live stream. I didn't listen to any of the radio coverage.
