Will Menzies currently hosts the afternoon drive shift at Magic 106 in Guelph. But you're about to hear him elsewhere on other Corus stations across the province. Hot AC formatted outlets in Hamilton, Kitchener, Kingston, Cornwall and London will now all carry his show.
It's the latest in a pattern increasingly seen across radio. One personality on several radio stations helps Corus save money while still having a live host. The only thing missing, and it's not a small thing IMHO, is having a local presence.
Menzies' show will air from 10AM - 2 PM weekdays.

So a station in Guelph and a station in Kitchener (less than 20 miles apart) will air the same show? If the Guelph station is CJOY-FM 106.1 (or whatever it is called) it already gets a great signal into K-W with its 50 kilowatts of power.

He's not going to be on in Kitchener.

That applies to 95.3 which can be heard in K/W and Guelph. Couldn't they do something else to 95.3? Like change the brand name back to 95.3 Fresh Radio or tweak the format to Rhythmic CHR and rebrand it to Jump 95.3 or 95.3 The Beat etc? 95.3 signal is 100,000 watts and it covers the GTA, Niagara, Waterloo Region and Western New York.

Whatever happened to 1460 CJOY? Is it still on the air?
