I know there are some here who are big fans of this guy. And for them, this truly is a laughing matter!
"The exclusive channel takes over channel 99 on car radios and the SiriusXM app, replacing Raw Comedy, and features unfiltered, uncensored material from some of today’s biggest names in comedy."
Sebastian Maniscalco Launches His Own SiriusXM Comedy Channel

It’s been part of my Sirius listening pattern for a few months now after more or less being sprung on us to replace the “Netflix is a Joke” comedy channel. In the main, it duplicates the previous service, but adds some bits from Sebastian where he reflects on his interactions with various comics (all positive, but fairly mundane) and the occasional bits of pointless banter where he shares various inside jokes with other comedians. On the positive side, there’s more bits by classics comedians like Bob Newhart and Lenny Bruce, and fewer interruptions for plugs for various Netflix shows and time share removal companies.

The veteran comedian is fighting back, insisting the changes to SiriusXM's comedy channel were made by the company - and not him. Other comics have criticized Maniscalco because the station's change in focus meant it was no longer playing up-and-comers still looking for their big break and reducing their compensation.
“That was a Sirius XM decision,” he said (in a statement.) “But I also want to let you know that I’m going to work with Sirius XM to highlight a variety of different voices and stand-up comedy from emerging to established to newcomers and everything in between.”
“I just asked that you’d give me a little time, guys,” Maniscalco added. “I just got here, and I needed a little time to build out the channel. So I just want to let you know that I heard you, and just give me some time and be patient. And I think you’ll like the result. God bless everyone.”
