Imagine if the Jays were still in the playoffs and that Tuesday was their first game. It comes on the same day that the Leafs season kicks off.
Since the Jays are obligated to air on The Fan regardless of what else is going on, Rogers dodged a bullet by not having to worry about shunting games over to 680 News - or wherever they were going to end up.
It certainly makes their job easier because they don't have to worry about what goes where on their radio stations.
But being a Jays fan, I wish it didn't!

This reminds me, does anyone know how the radio broadcasts are working this year? With Rogers now owning a majority stake in MLSE, will there still be a 50/50 split with TSN 1050?
There's usually a big press release about who is doing which games, but I haven't seen anything on this for this season.

Come to think of it, your point reminds about the Raptors. What happens when the Leafs and Toronto's NBA team are playing on the same night? Guess there could be the very occasional interruptions involving 680 after all.
