If you've ever watched an episode of Gilligan's Island, you probably remember the castaways gathered round a battery operated transistor radio listening to what was happening back in the world. (Sidebar: how could they receive an AM signal during the daylight hours if they were so far away from civilization?)
This is great fodder for a bar bet: the name of that voice on the radio. Turns out it was a character actor named Charles Maxwell. Although you'd think as a newscaster, he might have reported on a missing ship containing so many people - including a very rich couple.
Maxwell was never really famous, but you've seen him in countless other no-name roles.
