Monday morning and at about quarter to ten over on GNR am640, and out of the blue, Mike Stafford makes a somewhat sarcastic reference to how sowny contributor cGrant is always slagging the station.
Any bets on how/if there's a response? Slings, arrows, maybe a grudging nod, or the same ol' same old same.............

In related news, Corus Entertainment (CJR-B) shares began dropping in price around a quarter to ten, and are currently trading at a five year low. Neither Lou Schizas or Amanda Lang could be reached for comment.

And let's not forget the return of Deb from Fargo this morning as well. She's always a great caller.
It was a good Monday.

Still dropping, how low can they go (Hey Lou is this a buy opportunity for contrarian investors?)

Well, since I'm a chronic slagger of the trainwreck that is 640... Today, even though that station is trying to actually be a real station, Tasia was off (how much time off does she actually get). Yet, despite the fact they have groomed an actual professional fill-in bullpen with the self-righteous Peter Sure-man and other Corus yackers, they have one of their Bored Bunnies man the mike. It's bad enough listening to him constantly interrupt Kelly and play you tube videos on the radio, but a full two hours of him umm'ing and ah'ing his way through a show made Jim Richards sound bearable. And, of course, Chris couldn't handle the show alone and welcomed his Bored Bunny to wax in.
And, they were heading in the right direction. I guess that lasted, what, 2 weeks? 😳🤭
I've never understood the concept of spending time with a product one finds disappointing; especially with the range of portable entertainment available these days.
Nevertheless, Corus should seriously look into getting you a meter.
