I haven't seen a stunt like this in a long time. AppleTV and the producers of Ted Lasso are celebrating the show's return from a long hiatus by setting up a phone line where you can get messages of "inspiration" from the coach. Dial (913) 686-9840. (The area code is somewhere in Kansas.)

I've never seen a single episode of this show and it's not my kind of program, but I admit I phoned it just to see what happens. 

There aren't many phone recording nunbers left out there anymore, but it used to be a popular thing before cell phones and the on-demand nature of the Internet. Probably the longest running one I know was set up as a promotion for a tech company but is somehow still running. Its name is "Callin Oates," a number that lets you choose one of several songs by the group that gets played over your phone. 

You can call it 24 hours a day, even if you're not a Rich Girl (which is one of the song choices.) The number is located in Colorado Springs. It's 719-26-OATES.
