He did his final time warp again. But this is for the last time.
Actor Tim Curry, whose most famous role was as Dr. Frank-N-Further in the cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," has died.
But "Rocky" wasn't his only big role. He was nominated for an Emmy and three Tony Awards during his many years in the business. But it's for "Horror" that will definitely be his legacy.
He had not been well for several years, confined to a wheelchair in the final stages of his life.
Curry was 80.

He had the most delicious, distinctive voice. A real actor's actor. So good as Pennywise. In the early 80's Tim stole every scene he was in in the movie Legend starring Tom Cruise.
Note to 2026: that's enough beloved performers passing away for this year, please and thank you.

I saw him in Toronto in the early 90s in a touring production of "Me and My Girl." Fantastic performer.

I was fortunate to have seen Tim Curry as the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance while in London, early 80s. The truth be told, I wasn’t much of a musicals fan, but did think Curry was pretty cool! When he first appeared on stage, he had to wait for the applause to stop before he sang. This clip gives you the idea.
Such a talented man with a unique voice. R.I.P. Mr. Curry.
