Dolly Parton has one last surprise for fans, and many of them may not even be alive to find out what it is. 

Parton apparently recorded a special never-before-heard song in 2015 called "My Place In History." She ordered it not be released until Jan. 19, 2046 - on what would have been her 100th birthday. The tune is locked in a special box and she took every precaution to make sure it would be playable, regardless of the technology 20 years from now. 

"The recording is stored on a CD, and Parton even included a CD player inside the box to make sure people would still have a way to listen to it decades later. The unusual arrangement effectively turned the song into a musical time capsule."
