Remove It Pros Demolition is a "got junk"-like company based in Sarasota, Florida. When it was recently hired to clean out an abandoned local radio station that has relocated, they found a ton of old equipment and memorabilia that any fan of the medium would love to have.
And there was a ton of it - the place once housed six different stations.
A lot of it is going up on the web in a kind of ultimate media-based "Storage Wars" effort that would make any radio fan jealous.
"What looked like a massive junk removal job quickly turned into a scavenger jackpot. Broadcast boards were valued at $500–$2,000 each, a spectrum analyzer showed asking prices as high as $2,100, and hundreds of dollars in wire and scrap were scattered throughout the building. By the end, the crew estimated the equipment, components and wire at roughly $30,000."
You can watch the video showing what they found here.

There was an episode of Salvage Kings that featured the crew going through a building I believe in Cobalt Ontario that housed a former radio station. Repeats are still aired on History and Saturday nights on Global.
