Will This New Numeris Measurement Change Radio Ratings?

The service has introduced something called "Radio Local+".

They describe it as a "new hybrid radio measurement solution for local markets, combining people-based listening behaviours, census-level streaming data from participating Canadian radio broadcasters, and advanced modelling to create a more stable and representative view of radio audiences."

Will it change any of the radio rankings? Hard to say until we see how it works - and what it shows. Although the fact they publicly release almost nothing from their results means it's possible it won't show us anything.

Ratings are for advertisers, not the public. This is a long-overdue step to speed up ad campaign metrics in diary cities
