It's not often Canada gets any notice on the late night shows, but Wednesday night was an exception.
Huh?? Kimmel, Fallon, Meyers, Stewart, Colbert, Oliver and Maher talk about Canada quite often actually.
The total 15 minutes wasn't devoted to the tariff threat either. He talked a lot about various topics. A Closer Look is always worth a watch. Sometimes it is the best commentary on TV IMO.

Really? Close to 10-15 minutes worth? We may get a mention or be the subject of a joke or two. But devoting nearly an entire segment to the Great White North? I'm not sure who you're watching, but I rarely see that.
So unusual, in fact, that the Toronto Star devoted an entire article to it in its Thursday edition.

He didn't devote 10-15 minutes worth, not even close. Most of the bit had nothing to do with Canada or China or tariffs. It was however, all about Trump and general politics which is common on A Closer Look. And the segment was hilarious!
The uneven treatment of Canada and China was briefly the opening of the segment then until 9:40 all about Trump. Under 2 minutes out of the total 15 minutes was centred on Canada. They spent as much time talking about Olive Garden and other topics....
Again, Kimmel and the other late night hosts talk about Canada a fair bit. So to say we rarely get any notice on late night tv is absolutely false.
