Incredible Auction Has Some Of Entertainment's Most Prized Possessions
Ever wanted to own an item where John Lennon hand wrote one of the Beatles' most famous songs?
How about an actual light saber from Star Wars?
Or maybe the Wicked Witch's hat worn by Margaret Hamilton in the 1939 classic "The Wizard of Oz?"
All are going up for auction at a Hollywood event, and the artifacts on display could be worth thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars.
"A major Beatles artifact will also be up for sale: John Lennon’s handwritten lyrics for “If I fell,” written on the back of a Valentine card while he was in New York for the Fab Four’s first appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show” in 1964. The bidding for it will open at $500,000."
Personally, I'd love to buy the hoverboard used in "Back To The Future," but that's not going to happen in my lifetime! Perhaps it would be cheaper back in the 50s...

Luke Skywalker's original lightsaber with his severed hand attached proved it has Star Wars staying power. The artifact sold for an incredible $3.75 million at auction, the most pricey Star Wars prop ever.
The Wicked Witch's hat from The Wizard of Oz went for just over half a million.
And the Big Lebowski Dude's two rugs, including the one that "tied the room together," walked off with $375,000 and $350,000 respectively.
Honestly, people have too much money in their hands. Even if it is a severed hand...
