TV Reporter Keeps Her Cool After Disgusting "Ewww" Moment Live On Air
What could be worse than having a live hit be interrupted by something like a bee or a fly crawling all over you? How about this: a giant flying cockroach.
It happened to a reporter as she was talking about the weather on KTLA this week. She was out on location when perhaps the buggiest of all bugs landed right near a sensitive area of her skin as she was live on air.
Incredibly, she kept her cool and let the creepy crawly have its way, until it finally flew off of her body and into the night. It didn't last long, but I'm betting it felt like forever.
The video is not for the squeamish but you can be sure this is one they'll play at the station's Christmas party in December.

The reporter in question on this story now says she knew that awful insect was there, and she simply willed herself to get through it. The shuddering began only when she was off camera.
“I knew it was on me,” she said. “But I knew if I took notice of it, I wouldn’t be able to continue on with the report. So I said to myself, just get through this moment and then kind of shake it off.”

I wonder if this follow-up part of the story will one day end up on CBC's "Under The Influence." It's a brilliant way for a brand to cash in on a story that garnered a lot of attention.
