Is rogers the loblaws of broadcasting in canada?

With the layoffs and greed, is rogers the loblaw of radio and tv conglomerits?
And which one do you think is the metro inc of broadcasting?
And which one do you think is the sobeys/empire of broadcasting.
For me, Stingray would be the metro Inc, based in montreal and not as greedy as the others.
The sobeys of broadcasting is a heard choice for me because I don't know a lot about them.
Maybe corus because of there stronghold out west and targeting a younger demographic.
What do you guys think if you were to think of radio broadcasting companies the same way as grocery ownership companies.

Rogers would be your neighbour's lemonade stand.

After all is said and done, more is usually said than done.

Metro is closing several stores and converting them to Basics.
The most recent change will be at  Doris & Church (not far from Finch Subway station)
even though there is already a Basics close by, not far from Sheppard Subway station.

Change is coming all around. It's too difficult at this time to compare radio to grocery stores.
Especially with the recent closing of Loblaws Empress walk. (Replaced with a Loblaws owned T&T store)
Instead of putting Loblaws back in down the street, they are putting a NO FRILLS in where Whole Foods used to be,
even though a Basics is already right across the street.

Sticking with the topic of Radio, maybe one could argue that Longos is effectively the Classical 96 stand alone of the area now, with no real head on competition...if it can survive without being forced to give in and become a Freshco to better compete with the other guys...

I'm not sure the comparison with grocery stores works. For all their greed, while some of the chains made changes to their stores, none of them have been closed down. You can't say that about Rogers.

You’re right, the comparison doesn’t work, apples to oranges.

Also, the majority of the grocery adds I hear on stingray stations are for Metro INC stores.
And, boom used to give out metro giftcards.
I think stingray and metro are best buddies.

I am comparing more on company values and greed, not about closing down stores.
Rogers closed down stations on greed just like loblaw and the westons blamed metro and pricehiked because of there greed.
Its like if rogers were to blaim stingray for shutting down its own stations outwest when realy rogers is to blaim.
