The Shaw Channel Fire Log has a Twitter account, @ShawFireLog, and is Tweeting seriously bad, wooden puns. Wooden, as in awkward, stilted attempts at humour, and wooden, as in all the puns are about it being a log. But they're junior high school level puns. The Shaw Log has followers (supposedly) but we all know how that works.

Hats off to Shaw for the marketing ploy. I'll take a talking piece of wood over some of the silliness/rants against Trump found on Twitter, though I gotta say, a bad pun just ain't that punny y'know?

Good one Dale Patterson! If I could, I'd get the gang at Shaw Channel to put just a bit more into their account. It's entirely possible to have the Twitter pic on the Shaw Fire Log animated, in effect a mini version of the actual channel. It would catch the eye, and remind people of how much fun the faux flickering log can be. Shaw could even invite people to take selfies (loggies?!) of their holidays with the Shaw Fire Log Channel on in the background, and post them on social media. If nothing else, they could animate the darn log photo.
