Wow, 41 years at the same station - and on AM, no less. We are not likely to see that repeated anywhere anytime soon. Congratulations to her, that is some career.

Worked with her when I was an engineer at CKLW back in the 90's. One of the nicest people in the building and always ready to laugh about stuff. Her retirement will be well deserved.

I have listened of and on to CKLW since the early 1960s
I remember the switches the Big 8 and, then Music of your life, and then to news/talk
CKLW has had great newscasters over the years, including Austin Grant, Byron McGregor and Dick Smyth.
I enjoyed Patty Handysides, and wish her well in her retirement...
I am glad that CKLW seems to be doing ok...
