I tend to prefer Ben Mulroney, only because he does the widest range of topics. Although it would help if he were ever actually on the air (He's off again as I write this. Drex is sitting in for him on Tuesday.)
Brady is fine and a good alternative to John Moore, and I appreciate his back-and-forth with newsman Dave Bradley, although I wonder when Bradley actually gets to update his copy, because the two of them go on for so long. I wish Brady would stop setting up clips he wants to play with a 20-minute preamble. Just get to it, already.
I kind of liked Brad Smith at the beginning, but he's veered off into such a strange direction, I can hardly listen anymore. One minute he'll be praising Donald Trump (never a good sign for someone in Canada) and the next he'll do a 40 minute segment on mental health, often with an "expert" of rather dubious credentials.
Yes, we know he's ADHD, but he doesn't have to repeat it every 5 minutes as though it's a badge of honour!
So I'll take Mulroney of the three, possilby because he knows the most about politics in Canada, given he was there when his father was in office and saw a lot of what was going on behind the scenes.

Ben, Greg, then Brad.
Brad's format of talk radio is so confusing, I think he belongs more on q or the edge.
And I tend to agree the most with ben and his views on topics.
Talk radio in general in toronto, here's my host ranking from favourite to leest favourite/anoying.
Ben, Agar, Moore, Vasi kapelos, Deb, Brad smith, And jim richerds.

Why are the 2 greatist hosts in talk radio always away?
They are so good both ctv and global have them hosting on there tv news side.

Gene Valaitis has been a revelation over on 610. He runs a good show.
If anyone wants to hear raw talent, the natural ability to just talk and talk and talk, filling time itself with talking, check out this show. She has mellowed some with experience - the earliest episodes (not available) required full attention to keep up!

Speaking of CKTB, when they're not talking about local St. Catharines issues, their afternoon drive show is generally a lot of fun. And you can't beat the name of the host: John Gonzo It's not his real surname, but the moniker alone is enough to attract your attention.

Mulroney is passionate. Brady is passable. Smith is perfectly awful.
