With the company already in financial trouble, I was surprised to see they're still expanding into a new area. Vivéo is aimed at French Canadians and promises new entertainment choices for that audience for $4.99 a month.
Its offerings include movies and TV content and dubbed versions of popular English language shows like "Murder In A Small Town," "American Pickers" and even adult-oriented cartoons like "Rick and Morty."
From their press release:
"As of today, Vivéo offers more than 200 series and films, representing nearly 2,000 hours of content. Thanks to an ad-supported hybrid model, the platform delivers high-quality programming at a very affordable price point. Each title has been carefully curated to strike the right balance between major fan favourites and exclusive discoveries, ensuring a comprehensive entertainment offering for all types of viewers. The catalogue will also be enriched on a regular basis, notably with new original productions from Historia and Séries Plus added the day after its television broadcast."
The service is available as an add-on through Prime Video in Canada.

Corus hoping the monthly fees underwrite the $90 survey cheques to be doled out. 🤔😁
Speaking of which, don't you think they could have rounded out the amount to an even $100? That sounds so much better than a measly 90 bucks. But given their cash flow problems, that ten dollars must have been too rich for their blood.
