This was completely unintended but I had to laugh when I saw CTV's 6 PM News Tuesday night. I've noticed there are frequent mistakes with their keys or supers - those words that appear on the bottom of the screen to I.D. a speaker or summarize a story.
And so it was when Lindsay Morrison came on to do her weather report that a wrong graphic accidentally appeared underneath her. It was meant to be a promo for an upcoming story, but it was unintentionally hilarious.
As she stood in front of a map, on came the graphic: "Excessive Screen Time."
I don't know about that. I think she's on just about the right amount!
Online!
I wonder if she was made aware of it after the broadcast!

Anthony Farnell also had a graphics hiccup last night. Weirdly, Global News edited out this interesting incident for the online posting. Perhaps because Farnell showed viewers the remote controller?
16 minutes in. You may have buffering delays and 4 commercials as I did.

I saw that as it happened. I thought he dealt with it about as well as anyone could and tried to explain to the audience what went wrong. Plus we got a close look at the clicker, which was fun.
