Parrot TV Streamer Adds CBC News Network

It used to be that CBC Gem was the only place you could really watch CBC News Network online. But not anymore.

Parrott TV, the free service from CHCH owners Channel Zero, has added the national news to its line-up and it won't cost you a dime to watch it. It also carries CHCH and NTV Newfoundland programming, in addition to a host of other programming.

Along with the national network, it has also started carrying CBC regional news from Toronto and Vancouver. You do need to sign up to see what's there, but it doesn't cost you anything for access.

Re: Parrot TV Streamer Adds CBC News Network

I checked out Parrot TV, and it’s the free CBC News streaming channel, which is available on CBC Gem and the CBC News website and apps for free; it’s not CBC News Network. Most of the time it’s a jukebox of recent CBC News stories and interviews that aired over on CBCNN, with live simulcasts of The National along with any breaking news and live coverage such as today’s Artemis II landing.
