Saw last week that TSN 1200 in Ottawa just renewed its contract to be the radio broadcaster for the Sens. With Rogers going to own the majority of MLSE, what happens to the radio deal for the Leafs & Raps? Does anyone know when 1050s contract is up?
Also, quick thought on Overdrive. I find it very interesting that in the graphics of the show, there is little mention of TSN 1050. Fan Duel and YouTube get more airtime. Could we be seeing the end of this station, and Overdrive move solely to streaming?

I thought I read that while Rogers will be the majority owner of MLSE, the Raptors and Leafs contract will continue to be shared.

One thing missing. It's too bad Bell isn't interested in replacing Canadian Tire as the building sponsor once the Sens move to their new home in LeBreton Flats.

We don't know that. The current deal with Canadian Tire expires when when the new stadium would be likely to open.
What's interesting to me is that they signed a 12 year deal with a radio station that won't exist in 12 years. I'll bet there's some careful language in there around that.

Some people are saying the deal is with Bell Media instead of TSN1200. There is speculation if TSN1200 goes dark, rights would move to CFRA.
