Peter Alexander not only hosts the Today show on Saturdays, but he's been a longtime Washington White House correspondent for NBC, and a very good one at that. He has a solid delivery and is a good reporter. 

All that ends this month, with Alexander announcing he's leaving the show and the network. He says the weekly travel between his home in Washington and New York, where Today is shot, is just too hard on his family. 

But is he really leaving the network? Rumours say he's going to MS Now, the former MSNBC, which is owned by an NBC spin-off.
