I was just listening to a scoped air check at the Rock Radio Scrapbook of CFUN's soundathon from July 1967. A two part segment of a top 300 countdown.
Some interesting tracks were part of the top 300. Little Man by Sonny and Cher which was one of their lesser hits. Elvis Presley's version of Suspicion which I don't think was ever released as an A side. The Byrds Mr Spaceman which did not chart high. A nice Great Shakes ad by the Yardbirds which they follow up with Psychotic Reaction by the Count Five and that was brilliant as that song was a pure Yardbird's rip.
Makes for a good listen for fans of vintage air checks:

Ya' that is a weird Elvis selection...
I suspect they meant to use the Terry Stafford version -- a simple mix up?
And Great Shakes -- came with its own plastic shaker cup with a snap on lid...
Remember and enjoyed that 1960's product !
Thanks Fitz

CFUN and LG73 competed neck-and-neck in '67. Vancouver was another world entirely. Innocent, not simple.

1967? That's too modern for this board.
but the Bonzo Dog Band made Terry Stafford's Suspicion timeless in the 1970's:
